Sunol Ohlone Regional Wilderness - April Wildflowers

With late rains followed by brilliant sunshine, the wildflowers have been incredible this year. Karen and I went for a hike at the Sunol-Ohlone Regional Wilderness, in time for the April 11th Wildflower festival.
We hiked along the Canyon View Trail to the Little Yosemite waterfall, which thanks to rains two days previous was gushing. The rise was moderate to medium through folds in the canyon.
It was so beautiful, the following weekend, I headed back out to Sunol, but his time headed up Flag Hill, which was a steeper climb, but with some really amazing views of the area.
The greens were intensly green. The flowers were abundant, and yes, there were happy cows. I made a brief attempt at also hitting Maguire Peaks Loop Trail, but realized it would be better to park closer. I.e. I was running out of water
I will note that as you come down off of Flag hill, if you head right towards the windmill down Valley road (as opposed to turning left to go down High road), there is water fountain.
But really, both hikes were incredible both weekends.
