Every day is a winding road, Everyday is a faded sign, Everyday I get a little closer to feeling fine. And so the Great American journey begins… We got up around 9 am and headed north up I-5. ![]() |
Music Road Music - to begin It’s a Wonderful Life - to keep boppin’ Rockin’ Copeland - Cincinnati Pops - past Klamath Falls Sephardic Journey - into Crater Lake |
|
| As the miles
rolled beneath us, I could feel myself stretch. Letting go of everything
but blue sky, calm waters.
On our way to Crater Lake, we stopped by Annie Creek and looked at pillars of volcanic rock, carved by millenium of falling water. The only sounds were the creek, the wind in the trees, birds, your own heart beat. That night, we camped at Camp Mazamba at the base of the Crater Lake park. Went on a hike. Made a fire. Roasted marshmallows. Drank wine. Woke up a billion times in the night because it was freaking freezing. The journey begins. |
