Feature- I Wanna See Trip List
Ok, so we've travelled. But
the world's a big place, full of places we want to go. Now some of these
places, we're never going to see. For example, I'd like to visit the Summer
river valley between the Tigris and the Euphrates. However, given that
that is in Iraq, alas, ain't gunna happen. Then again I there are so many
other things to see.
Here's a few off the top
of our heads...

In the U.S.A.

Road trip tooling around
from mesa to pueblo and back again sometime in the autumn. |

I've never been. Really
is there anything else to say. Probably in the autumn or spring. |
| Florida |
Ok, so I want to go to Disneyland,
the Florida keys, and swamps in no particular order. |
| Great Lake States |
Because they and Florida
are all that keep me from having been to all 50 states. |
Outside the U.S.A.

| Canada, Quebec |
Road trip from Montreal
to Quebec sometime in the autumn when the leaves are turning and harvest
is in the air. |
| Belize/Guatamala |
The second largest barrier
reef in the world is off of Belize. Its economical. Its beautiful. Mom
went and I'm jealous. I also want to see the Mayan ruin of Tical in Guatemala. |
| England, Lake
Country |
Either a train or road trip
sometime in the late spring or early summer (really the best time of year
in England). Long days hiking in the mountains. Looking at standing stones.
Reading poetry. |
| Northern France |
Road trip from North Brittany
to the Alsace Lorraine sometime in the late spring or early summer. I want
to see Mont St. Michelle, Norman castles, Champagne, and if possible the
villages in the Lorraine where my family came from before heading to the
U.S. |
| Danube and Rhine
Rivers |
There's this cruise down
the Rhine and Danube I've been eyeing for ages. I want to sail down the
Rhine. I want to see quaint villages while sipping wine.  |
| Egypt |
I want to cruise down the
Nile. I want to walk among the pyramids. I want to see the temple of Hatshepsut.
I want to shop in the casba. I want to say, "casba" in relation to myself. |
| Jordan, Petra |
Its Petra. Nabateans, Persians,
Romans, Arabians, Lawrence. They saw it. I want to see it. |
| Israel |
Jerusalem, Nazareth, Bethlehem,
Masada, the Sea of Galilee, the Dead Sea, and on and on. The birthplace
of my religion. A cradle of civilization. A hot bed of far too much contention.
Get along already. |
| China |
The Great Wall, the Forbidden
City, the River of the Yellow Dragon. Its kind of like saying, "I want
to go see America." America is a big place. China is a big place. And yet,
I want to see China. |
| Japan |
The cosmopolitan and the
rural in a tiny package. Temples in malls, castles in a different style. |
