American/ Pub
$8-20
Yummy food in a nice casual pub setting. Oh, and did I mention that
they have a patio with a view of the Bay Bridge.
I had the Hanger Steak, with potatoes, and asparagus at $15.95. I got
a good sized portion of meat with a very flavorful sauce. Yum. Melinda
ate the pork chop plate for $15.95. Mine Gott, huge chops and very tender.
Wrapped up with a Chocolate fudge cake with vanilla ice cream. $5.95. Rich
and dense as plutonium. Glad I was sharing with Melinda.

MacArthur Park
San Francisco
American
$12-20
MacArthur Park is a nice dark, ambiance filled place near the Embarcadero
Centers. They have a small intimate enclosed patio, but I prefer the dark
wood indoor charm bit.
We started off with popcorn shrimp, $6.95. They were crunchy,
lightly battered and fried delicious. I then had the dry rubbed pork chops.
They were almost sweet. Then there was the Mud Pie. That really was sweet
and I practically felt like I was mainlining the caffeine from the chocolate.
(uhh...that's a good thing).
