Wine Tasting 11.12.00
 On November
12, Crystal and I headed back to Alameda for
Rosenblum
Cellars' open house. The place was packed and with good reason. This
winery on the docks specializes in Zinfandels, but we found that their
Chardonnays and desert wines were also excellent. The open house event
featured 41 wines to taste, gourmet snack foods in generous quantities,
a swinging jazz band, and a souvenir glass for just $15. An added bonus
is the distillery next door, St.
George Spirits, which was also open for tasting. Their brandies, single
malt scotch, and desert wines were to die for. I highly recommend this
event for anyone who enjoys fine wine. |
